Fun Fact!
Did you know that Colorado Springs is home to the world's largest collection of vintage aircrafts: The National Museum of World War II Aviation in Colorado Springs is one of the largest collections of WWII aircraft and offers an immersive experience into aviation history.

The National Museum of World War II Aviation is a place that that inspires and entertains people as they seek to gain a better understanding of the role that aviation played at a critical turning point in our nation’s history. As the museum continues to grow, it will soon be joined by two other world class-projects currently under development in Colorado Springs—the U.S. Olympic Museum and Hall of Fame and the U.S. Air Force Academy Visitor Center. Together, these uniquely different projects will be jointly marketed to create a magnet for historical research and cultural tourism that will draw visitors from all over the world.

Positioned in the heart of the city, our building was originally built to store and maintenance the streetcars that once traveled Tejon Street. Colorado Springs Rapid Transit Railway operated them from 1902 to 1932, when they were eventually decommissioned and replaced with busses. Owner/operator, Ari Knaup, put together an extensive collection of old vintage photographs and rail maps. Her vision was to utilize the buildings roots and original purpose as a core component of the concept and brand of Streetcar520.
Dining at Streetcar520 is a way to experience food from all over the world and share it with friends. Our menu is built around small plates and shared dishes, it is designed to bring an element of unity to groups of diners. Our New American dishes maintain a fresh and energized appeal that inspires the senses and leaves our guests craving more.
Here at Streetcar520 we serve delicious food and offer exceptionally good vibes. It is a place where hugs are preferred to handshakes; meals are prepared to bring people together and the service delights.

This was recommended to me for a special occasion such as an anniversary, hitting a milestone in your life or just when you want to treat yourself!
Ephemera began as a series of multi-sensory Pop-Up Dinners in early 2018 by Chefs Ian Dedrickson and Adam Ridens, and Creative Director Jasmine Dillavou. The passion project quickly evolved into a regular series of themed dinners held in locations varying from restaurants to friends’ apartments to Colorado Springs-area farms, and has now progressed to the next step of a brick-and-mortar. | 514 S Tejon St Suite 250a, Colorado Springs, CO 80903

Sometimes I catch myself thinking about this place too often….
If you are looking for a fresh and tasty sushi spot then this weeks number 1 recommendation is Dozo’s! Started in February of 2020 by a group of friends that had to get away from a horrible work environment and boss. We just decided to just walk and make a better place to dine. | 1606 S 8th St, Colorado Springs, CO

Fun activities for the weekend!
Wine Festival Of Colorado Springs
It was born 33 years ago, making it the longest-running wine festival in Southern Colorado. The first event was held in 1992 at the private Colorado Springs' School, and consisted of a modest "Grand Tasting" event with a small wine auction, which procured $16,000 in revenue, over 50% more than was anticipated by the initial planners! Festival coordinators recognized that the Wine Festival of Colorado Springs could be a substantial annual fundraiser for excellent causes throughout the city...

Service Projects
Community Service Opportunities:
After being in the Childrens hospital for a week with my family, this one hits home a little closer to the surface. I am so grateful for those that volunteer to help, who donate blood, volunteer meals for those in need and have donated to the hospital no matter how big or small.

There are so many families that have unexpected illnesses that need immediate medical attention, if you are looking to do a good deed and service others check out these service opportunities.
It’s about providing a sense of security, hope, and a brighter future. When we help those in need, we’re investing in a world where every child has the chance to grow, heal, and thrive.
