Porkbutt BBQ was founded by Joshua and Bonnie Cheney, a couple originally from Connecticut who’ve lived across the U.S. before settling in Colorado Springs. Their passion for BBQ developed over 19 years, with Joshua crafting gluten-free recipes influenced by Bonnie’s Celiac condition. They began their journey with a food truck in 2023, quickly building community support. After being in the Childrens hospital for a week with my family, this one hits home a little closer to the surface. I am so grateful for those that volunteer to help, who donate blood, volunteer meals for those in need and have donated to the hospital no matter how big or small.
