Sometimes I catch myself thinking about this place too often….

If you are looking for a fresh and tasty sushi spot then this weeks number 1 recommendation is Dozo’s! Started in February of 2020 by a group of friends that had to get away from a horrible work environment and boss.  We just decided to just walk and make a better place to dine.  | 1606 S 8th St, Colorado Springs, CO

This was recommended to me for a special occasion such as an anniversary, hitting a milestone in your life or just when you want to treat yourself!

Ephemera began as a series of multi-sensory Pop-Up Dinners in early 2018 by Chefs Ian Dedrickson and Adam Ridens, and Creative Director Jasmine Dillavou. The passion project quickly evolved into a regular series of themed dinners held in locations varying from restaurants to friends’ apartments to Colorado Springs-area farms, and has now progressed to the next step of a brick-and-mortar. | 514 S Tejon St Suite 250a, Colorado Springs, CO 80903

Had to put this one up one more time! It starts with Mike and Megan Davis who have been in the restaurant business for 2 decades in Colorado Springs. They have had a lifelong dream of owning an Irish Pub. Creating an atmosphere with great homemade food served by amazing and friendly staff was always at the forefront of their vision. There is no better way to enjoy your day than with great homemade Irish food paired perfectly with a Guinness or Smithwicks.

Irish Pubs are so fun and relaxing and then you add a great neighborhood in with that and they knew they had finally found the perfect place.

Mike and Megan are always on site, be sure to come in and introduce yourself and try some of their great homemade Irish dishes | 9697 Prominent Point, Colorado Springs

Service Projects

Community Service Opportunities:

After being in the Childrens hospital for a week with my family, this one hits home a little closer to the surface. I am so grateful for those that volunteer to help, who donate blood, volunteer meals for those in need and have donated to the hospital no matter how big or small.

There are so many families that have unexpected illnesses that need immediate medical attention, if you are looking to do a good deed and service others check out these service opportunities.

It’s about providing a sense of security, hope, and a brighter future. When we help those in need, we’re investing in a world where every child has the chance to grow, heal, and thrive.
