Super Bowl Sunday!
Happy Friday everyone! Time seems to have been flying here in the Springs area. I hope everyone has had a wonderful week and is ready for a weekend full of fun activities!
I appreciate everyone recommendations for the news letter, many of you have reached out letting me know about different restaurants and must see places. Thank you for your support!

Colorado Springs is hosting several Super Bowl events on Sunday, February 9, 2025. Here are some options to consider:

First Congregational United Church of Christ

Service Projects:
Night to Shine Volunteer Opportunity: Assist at the Night to Shine event on Friday, February 7, at Pikes Peak Christian Church. Volunteers must be at least 14 years old.
CASA of the Pikes Peak Region: Become a Court Appointed Special Advocate to support children in need.
Mercy's Gate Volunteer Opportunities: Help neighbors in crisis through various volunteer roles.

Recommended Places to Eat:
O’Malley’s Steak Pub: Located in Palmer Lake, these wings are worth the drive. The best way to describe the wings from O’Malley’s? CRISPY. And that’s how you want ‘em. Both the wing sauce and the bleu cheese dressing are made in-house too. You can order anywhere from five to 100 wings — OK, the website says you can order 1,000. And once you taste them you may want to.

Rico's Cafe, Chocolate and Wine Bar: A cozy spot offering a variety of chocolates, wines, and light fare.

Poor Richard's Downtown: Known for its diverse menu and live music events.
